sup /g/

At this point, i dont know what to do anymore. In WoW as example, my FPS at the garrison is around 55-60 on Ultra, it also stutters. Is around 70-80, if out of town. Hell breaks out in crowded areas, where i even drop to 25fps. In Minecraft, with shaders, it gets even more worse.
Ive downloaded a map with a huge city as a simple test and it turned out that my fps is around 18-20fps. (Optifine was also installed).
Ive also tested Fallout 4, which had like 50-60fps (which seems to be still kinda low, compared to other gpu's which were weaker).
I thought the problem is my current CPU desu. Nevertheless, i cant somehow believe that it makes that much of a difference. Especially at Minecraft with Shaders, which is simply frustrating.
Here are my specs:

Win 7 64bit
16GB DDR3 crucial
AMD Radeon r9 390
Intel Core i5 2,5k @3,3GHz
Samsung SSD 850 Evo

I know the cpu is pretty old by now, and is maybe the reason for all that, well, idk. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

WoW ran fine for me on an i5 4690, gtx 660, 60 fps at all times. Blackhand with 30 people I hit about 40 fps on the pull since opening as a BoS Unholy is kind of graphically intensive.

Just turn down shadows and you should be fine, that's the only major FPS limiter.

I did that already, its on 'high'.

Drop it to low, it's those and projected textures that kill WoW. The aesthetic really isn't great either. I dunno how you're getting such bad framerates with that hardware though, is your OS super bloated and has stuff running in the background?

Got a bitcoin miner or some other malware?

Not that i could think of. All im running in the background is avira.
I recently formated the PC, so its pretty empty too.
Drivers are installed.

Mine is even weirder, but it runs through WINE so I'm not really surprised.

>sub 30fps in Garrison
>smooth 60fps through the entire mythic Archimonde fight
