I need a mic with top tier sound quality, preferably cheap. Can someone help me out? I want to record vocals mainly.

I'd have to wait till I get home from work first. I fucked this up anyway. I was trying to post this on /mu/ but the damn clover app opened up to technology on default, and I forgot to change it.
Samson GO and the Samson meteor are nice

That shit doesn't go together really well

Get a used condenser microphone. Microphone tech is literally stagnant, so old is equal to new.
You wont find a good new condenser microphone for cheap.

/g/is probably the best board for this kind of questions, maybe /prod/
look into a ant lion mic

By cheap I mean like 50-100 dollars as opposed to 100-300 dollar expensive studio shit

IMO you should demo all the mics you want before buying. My fav mics sound-wise are generally Electro-Voice, but they're a premium brand with high price. Honestly a lot is dependent on your preamp and even cheap mics can have performance very very close to the performance of higher end ones. Keep in mind, if you don't have a true studio space, you might be better off with a dynamic mic. Condenser mics are more prone to picking up a ton of background noise.
