Been on PTs since OiNK, so I know what I'm talking about. They're good value but it depends on what your needs are. I've never used one because I'm content with local storage and home internet speeds, if want to build a massive collection you will probably need one, if you just want to download some good quality movies/music/books/TV shows/etc, share a bit, and you have a few TBs local and at least an OK internet connection then there is basically no need for a seedbox.

Not likely, they know that people can have technical issues with BT clients. Just make sure you don't fuck your ratio or break any HnR rules and you will be fine. They only really go after people who consistently abuse the system. I've limited upload to 1kB/s for short periods (no more than 24 hours) on multiple occasions when I wanted to focus on something else, but I definitely don't do it regularly or in any kind of a pattern. Is there any decent software for scanning and uploading print books?
I have a library at my house (several thousand books easily) and I am sure I have plenty of things not on bib, but nothing is in digital format so unless there is an easy way to convert them I will likely be struggling to get those 100 uploads.

Yeah? Like I said, freeleech ends in 20 hours and his torrent will take him at LEAST 42 more hours. That's a goooood chunk that wont be freeleech for him.
Hopefully he is an older member, but since there have been open applications lately, he could be brand new and not understand that when freeleech is over any torrent you haven't finished counts against your ratio, and his torrent isn't a freeleech torrent regularly so once the 20 hours of freeleech is over, it will all count against him.

I've no idea senpai. My uploads are all from OverDrive. Ask in Mam forums as Mam uploaders scan and upload hard copy books more than Bib uploaders.
