I wish someone updated this one, still love it though.
>>52398282
ikr maybe we should start a thread dedicated to updating infographics like these.

I'd love this a poster.

Did you try opening and closing the optical drive?
This is somewhat useful thread unlike 99% others on /g/.
I wish /g/ would some day raise to be serious gathering place.

Can someone explain this? to me it looks like Razor removes the higher end, alto does the same but not as well, and FLAC does even less removal - but sounds better. e.g. what are the blue and red lines for

subjective as fuck. I look at the catalogue and what do i see? most of the threads are either useful discussions about tech or tech philosophy, with a few shit posts that are still discussion. If anything this thread is the least useful since its not a thing new (since there exsists a torrent of about 15GB of these images)

Whole threads are misleading you and are made for shitpost and misleading people with information that appears to be legit
>>52398450
yes, you can bypass a lock
>>52399150
actually you won't find some of these pics in the torrent, there're some oc posted here.
>>52398145
How comes Privacy Badger is not listed? I thought EFF approved that. LastPass is closed source and it was hacked last year too, not sure if it should be in the pic tbqh.
A lot of mentions about the torrent and no mention of where the torrent is..
>>52399198
>>52399167
well what do you want then, thread titles really arent that misleading, the generals are good as well. At least free speech exsists in them.
>>52399185
>>52399178
thats books only, idk how many seeders the torrent actually has or where it is
>>52399198
nah not really
>>52399330
Are you really still trying to force this a whole year later?
>>52399355
Force what? It's already known it hides the ads after loading them.
Just some memers pretend it doesn't.
>>52399329
The wiki is down atm, I have it but it is incomplete and kinda outdated and uses dead trackers: 0BBFAAF5F469A2BD3D762F6942A302F7014A35E9 (2012/07/24) even though I downloaded it like a few months ago.
If I didn't have bandwidth cap I'd try uploading an updated version.
>>52399362
>It's already known
That claim was proven false the same day some goober said it.
>>52399424
Go shill somewhere else.
>>52399424
on sankakucomplex once I noticed that at times the ads appeared for half second and then disappeared, I don't know if they fixed the bug yet because I removed the addon after that and switched to a stand-alone program, not browser addon, to block ads, but it happened.
>>52399444
ublock != ublock origin
>>52399444
This graph makes no sense because uBlock (origin or not) and ABP use the exact same lists for ad blocking. The only explanation is that ABP and uBlock are using different lists. Why would yo go around on the internet propagating lies, Anon?
>>52400059
I'm out of images, this is really the last one.

No need.
Most PSUs are just rebranded seasonics.
So as long as you don't buy from the 40/1000 brands that use Chinese OEMs, you'll be fine
>>52400829
There is no escape from the botnet, unless you use a real OS for real men like Gentoo, Slackware or FreeBSD.
>>52400894
Installing Gentoo will be my weekend project...
should i stay with sysVinit or something else?
>>52400940
Depends, do you want the advantages of SystemD with the simplicity of a BSD-style init? Then ruinit. If not, staying with SysVinit is fine. If you really want to change it though, here are some alternatives you can try http://without-systemd.org/wiki/index.php/Init
Or make an init script yourself.
>>52401056
runit looks fine... however if i use apt or pacman it will probably break all the packages using an init system am i right?
>>52401101
No.
>>52399178
just download it from the install gentoo ftp server
>>52400940
Stick with the default openrc/sysvinit untill you have a running system. After that you can emerge runit which is compatible with openrc.
Gentoo uses portage not apt for package management.
Theres sakaki's guide if you want a semi tweaked efi gentoo system from the start.
>>52401456
i currently have a debian up n running but systemd really started bothering so ill switch to a fully botnet free OS like gentoo
thanks for the info :^)
