What I like about Noctua is there's no gimmicky styling. The fans are of that ugly color, sure, but otherwise it's strictly business. No gayman fins or flares, no stupid name like 'be quiet' or 'cryorig' no bullshit. Just high quality coolers with a simple design and simple fans that aren't very audible. That's why I got a noctua cooler instead of some brashy Phanteks block of iron.

I get it, though, some people want some edgy looking cooler that looks good viewed from their alien fetus looking case with a billion different leds. Looks cool with their razer gaming gear.
>>
I'd honestly prefer Cryorig's coolers.

Black makes very hot things cooler by increasing heat radiation. That's why Space Shuttle has black insulating plates in the hottest parts.

However at those temperatures your CPU runs supposedly 60C cores and like 40C radiators heat radiation is ALMOST NOTHING pretty close to zero, however layer of paint conducts heat way worse than metal does so black paint insulates and makes your cooler worse. A lot worse.

Most watercoolers are AIO shitters or fools who only put their cpu into their loop. No amigo, if you are going to watercool its because you are overclocking and that should mean mobo vrms as well.

>>52401332

EK sell a bunch of mobo blocks as well because thats the best way to push performance from a cpu (most watercooling fools have shit airflow so the vrms fry as they pump MOAR VOLTS through the mobo).
>>
>>52401296
If you're going to blow a bunch of money on a PC, what reason isn't there to strive for perfection (as much as possible, at least) in every aspect of the system? I don't really enjoy using technology that feels cobbled together based on price point, I'd rather be able to appreciate it.

It seems there are a lot of quality products to choose from in this arena that will perform within most users' expectations, and as long as that applies to you as well, there's absolutely nothing wrong with going for something that looks as good as it works, function and form are generally only mutually exclusive in the Apple ecosystem.
>>
>>52401358

>Most water cooling fools fall for the all-in-one meme coolers like this:

Which shows how retarded they are - it takes a 240mm AIO to outperform top end air and said 240mm units nearly always are louder to outperform the liekso f a D15 (as thewy all use shit fans).

If you are replacing the fans even then you aren't coming out much ahead of top end air and are spending a lot more.

Give it a little common sense,

1 you are living in an ice cave and those temps are valid
2 you are violating the secong law of termodynamics and are going to get swatted by universal physics police
3 you are getting wrong termal reading.

It's one of those.
What's you room temperature?
>>
>>52402165
