HDs don't have unlimited reads and writes either. Any activity you do with them mechanically wears them out little by little.
At my current rate of usage I'm not going to come even close the maximum writes on my SSD even after ten years of use.

use any SSD like you would use a HDD, for everything, OS and gaymes, all programs, constant reads and writes all the time and it will not come close to a couple years lifespan
