Why aren't more people using OpenSuSE? I tried it recently and was genuinely impressed.

Opensuse is one of, if not the best, Linux distro, the only problem is yast
>>52388219
Is there any porn of the opensuse logo?

because there is no openpepe fork
yast/yast2 smells like poop.
But I like the premise of the "hybrid" release they did with leap.
I wish redhat would do the same with rhel and fedora and make an LTS release of le tip hat distro.
Otherwise opensuse has no redeeming qualities whatsover.

Impressed by what?
99% percent of people cannot tell the difference between distros.
All they can notice is difference in DEs and package managers.

Also forget about suse/opensuse trying to be a unique snowflake and putting config files in weird directories.
It's like they actually wanted to do everything in the opposite it should
Tiny repositories. You add the Packman repos to actually have software and inevitably have a problem, you'll get called an idiot on the forums for adding them.
AWFUL default font rendering. Like, next level shitty.
Two main reasons I use Arch for Retards over openSUSE.

I used opensuse for 6 months before switch to arch
fonts were fine, never noticed anything and never concerned myself with fonts until the abhorent experience of arch pure install without infinality
adding packman repos were like first thing you do after install recommended everywhere, to get media stuff and shit
so dunno what really you are talking about
if I were to abandon Arch it would be going back to opensuse or going for fedora to get some red hat experience for certification in some distant future

Low resources for an independent distro

Make some on your own, that is the Linux way™

Stuff like that matter. Example: I bought my thinkpad cause it was written 420 on it (t420)
