Obviously, an assembly language relevant to whatever "CPU" the Universe is running on.

Computing pioneer Konrad Zuse (mostly ignored in Anglo states because he was German) actually considered the Universe to be a self-computing machine of sorts.

One time I smoked a bunch of DMT right after a programming binge, I swear to god when I opened my eyes I saw the code of the universe. It started from a high level code that I had never seen before then kept going deeper. Atoms were objects which had logic on how they interacted with each other, they were broken down into electrons, protons, and neutrons which had a similar setup, and were broken down further. Soon it was just binary. Then I broke out of my trip.

>>52389036
So what you actually mean is you realised that everything is an object with attributes and methods. And are acting like we didn't already know that.

the universe wrote itself in waves. Everything is a wave. all vibrations always vibrating at infinite number of frequencies. "God" is just a group of people's high level language they made up because they're too simple to understand a low level language.

True, they're not, but they don't need to be. The tendency to derive "meaning" out of things is just an evolutionary advantageous trait. It doesn't need to be the case that meaning exists outside of that context.
>>
C
>>
>>52389513
>the Universe
>God

So in short, fucking everything. Just because you've made it a habit to go around assigning meaning to everything and everyone around you--or if you want to be honest with yourself for just a trivial fraction of eternity, you've just accepted the assigned meaning that others have told you to, and manipulated you into accepting--doesn't mean that it isn't all bullshit.

Things have meaning because our brains require explanations, no matter how stupid, or illogical. The Universe itself does not require any such thing, and it will continue on with it's [likely] eternal expansion, long after it wipes us and our precious meaning the fuck out. Trillions of years from now the Universe will be a cold, dead, empty place with absolutely nothing worthwhile occurring, or even being possible to occur any longer. The fact that there are people who want to live forever amuses me greatly--eternal life in such a Universe would be absolute Hell. I'd say that we should be glad that we are alive at the time and place we are, but it doesn't matter if we appreciate and enjoy it or not.

Lisp, maybe not literally Lisp, but everything becomes Lisp at some level. Everything.

C:

#include <stdio.h>

int main() {
printf("Hello World!\n")
return 0;
}

inside the compiler, after going through the parser:

(include < stdio.h >)
(int main ()
((printf "Hello World!\n")
(return 0)))

Python:

print("Hello world!")

inside the interpreter, after going through the parser:

(print "Hello World!")

English:

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

inside your brain:

((the (quick brown fox)) jumps (over (the (lazy dog))))

It's called being a kid. When I was that age I wanted to be an archaeologist, just like Indiana Jones. Ok, I knew it wouldn't be nothing like Indiana Jones, but it seemed like an interesting, and worthwhile dream all the same.

Today I am a machinist. It's not anyone's dream job I don't think, but it pays pretty decently, is actually useful to society, and it can be interesting and challenging. I could have ended up doing much worse for a career I think. For example I could have gotten a degree in archaeology and spent my life, busting my ass, hoping to work my way up to shift leader at McDonald's instead.

At least that kid has better career goals in mind to begin with, even if he doesn't realize that Apple is a shitty company, that makes shitty products yet.

Lisp is a mental black hole to trap the ignorant.

There are things which are not pairs and do not have pair-like or list-like structure at all.

The ignorant are permitted to focus on the things that can be shoehorned into Lisp and become convinced that it is all there is to know.

There are things that can turn the whole Church-Turing thesis on its head.

Find your own understanding. You will get no spoonfeeding from me.

I think about this all the time. The underlying system is written in something compiled, typesafe and stable like Haskell, but all of the craziness on top is written in a scripting language like Ruby.

Think about it. Why did God always meddle in things throughout the bible and nowadays we never hear from him? It's the classic software engineering problem.
>man, this system is so stable and works so well
>but I think I can make it better
>makes animals
>fucking sweet, lets do more
