Recommendations on a budget record player/turntable setup?
>>
>>52380360
>$poor
Go to a thriftshop and buy something with an adjustable arm. If you have more money, replace the cartridge (highly recommended)
>$100
Audio Technica At-LP60
>$170+
>U turn audio
>Audio technica AT-LP120

Keep in mind that you will need to buy an amp or reciever (a reciever is an amp+radio), and possibly even a pre-amp, and speakers if you already don't have any. Those might get expensive.

And don't buy crosley.

Get a proper audio interface, don't get one of those vinyl to usb players.

ATH Player and a good dedicated audio interface will suffice for lossless audio.
>>
>>52380360
Fuck all these beta losers. Just get a crosley like any other hipster normie. I swear, everything else is overkill and placebo.
>>
>>52380620
Nice meme
>>
>>52380857
How do I get the music from the vinyl to my phone though? I looked up ATH player and all I got were headphones
>>

You can stick the output from the amp into the input on your pc and then use a program like audacity to record it. There are probably better ways though.

Go to Salvation Army, goodwill, flea markets. etc..
Get yourself an older Technics, really any model. I have a Technics SL-210 and have had it for years from a goodwill.
Stereo and speakers are an older Kenwood model from a salvation army
I spent about $150 and my setup is better than most.

RCA into computer, make sure it's an input.
Record with audacity or whatever program you want.
Put on itunes etc..
>>
>>52384172
>>52384150
Not every computer has RCA inputs (yes i know there are RCA<->3.5mm cables). Besides, if you're recording records it's really about high quality i assume, so a dedicated audio card is better.

>>52384336
>dedicated audio card

Look into laser/digital players, they cut out all the crackle and can play even broken vinyls
>>
>>52386053
You forgot the part where they cost $5,000 and up
>>
>>52386053
>they cut out all the crackle

Why would you do this?
>>
I saw a JVC Al-a158 at a thrift store near me. Is it any good? I already tried checking audiokarma, and they did not really have that much information on it, except for the fact that it is belt driven, and has an auto return feature.

Here's a video of it that I found.
