Flip phones being released in 2016. What are my options.
No need for a huge iPhone and pointless apps and games and exorbitant monthly fees in Canada for data plans just so you can clash of clan at work or use the gps 3 times per year.
Wifi would be nice for maps so I can connect at a fast food restaurant and browse maps there.

Buy a portable gps for your car. So what if updates cost a little every year. Like you'd even need one.
Buy an iPod or iPad for browsing. You can look up an adress before you leave home or print it off.

buy one of the smart/flip phones from a prepaid phone company. I got my phone for $20 and a plan for $20. really cheap compared to major plans. I use my phone for calls and texts mostly. never used data. One thing you have to remember is shop around and find a plan that fits you.

If I wanted a clam phone it's not to have the same as a touch screen one only with smaller screen, double the size folded and gimped out of the ass. How difficult is it to understand that who wants this sort of phone will not even prefer to have purdy colors and video display capability. They just want a small phone that works solely for texting and making phone calls.

Not in canada but I still use the same flip phone I've had since around 7 or 8 years ago maybe. This one here. I'm totally behind the times when it comes to phones but costs and stuff always was a turn off. It's a shame that you can't get a flip phone in the US that is closer to a smart phone like the ones in Japan without having to import it and shit.
