the back camera is passable at best

I got the same phone, Just got the Marshmallow update about 3 days ago. Like it.

I disagree with the camera, I think it's awesome in good lighting (outdoors lighting really) but shit indoors and in low light.

better speakers than my LG p769.

Runs a bit hot when recording videos for 30+ minutes straight.

Physical home button and touch Menu/Back buttons kinda separated from main window
It's size is good enough for me
>hate
Being a version from an older phone, this shit doesn't have much ROM support (I'm using the novafusion CM11, the only rom I found)
Also 4GB internal storage

Besides that, it wasn't expensive, I own it for two years now and the only thing I passionately hate about it is the internal storage
>>
Note 5

>Pros
Nice screen and it's a powerhouse.

>Cons
No SD slot, Xbox hueg, and I never really use the pen. Afraid I'm going to drunkenly stick it in backwards one day and fuck up the slot.

bb q5
>like
calls, texts

fucking physical keyboard
battery lasts 3-5 days

Moto G (2014, Titan, XT1068)
Pros:
>Great display for only 720p resolution
>Stereo front speakers
>DUAL SIM (It's a pain in the ass to find a decent dual SIM device)
>MicroSD
>was only 136.77 € a year ago
Cons:
>5.0 factory ROM (however it has official Cyanogenmod 13 and M is on the way)
>Built in battery

>bootloader locked
>no headset in retail package
>>
>>52369505

Tried rooting a galaxy grand prime yesterday. Ended up soft bricking it getting stuck on some shitty FRP lock, having to install a bunch of software (ended with my laptop getting infected with the AIDS equivalent of adware), and reflashing some obscure XDA firmware.

I truly feel sorry for anybody who has that phone.

Very good display (AMOLED FTW)

>>

Like

Dislike
Amoled screen makes whites look like fucking shit (you can tell there is a yellowish tint in them)

Seriously this amoled meme needs to end, who the fuck wants a screen that degrades as months pass by??

If it wasn't for the amoled I'd put it a 9/10. But with amoled I'd say it's a descent 7/10.

Even the comments on gsmarena's page on this phone mostly complain about freezes and crashes. Most probably not enough ram to handle touchjizz

Same as >>52369508

+ Nice screen for the price at the time
+ Nice speakers
+ Good build quality
+ Good ROM support
+ Stock worked just fine anyways, but I'm an autist
+ Only poorfag phones with decent updates support

- I miss colored notification LED
- Battery life could be better
- meh camera
- It's the memest Moto G generation, with the fewest improvements. It should've had 3rd Gen's specs
>>
>>52371893
I've used it myself to see what the problem is. There's not too many apps and only 1-3 apps open and it lags like fuck. Once the camera started not working, but that got fixed by removing the battery for a second. Now there's a problem, where the phone doesn't show battery percentage reducing. It only updates if the phone is restarted.
>>
Nexus 5

>>52371966
I have these exact problems on a phone with pretty much the same specs, htc 626s, except no removable battery. 1gb of ram is much to low for fluid android at this point, and 8gb rom is laughable.

I'm an iPhone user but got one of these for dicking around with android on. Mine was just offered the marshmallow yesterday, haven't updated yet. And the camera is pretty ok I think.

Like about it: dat battery life. Unofficial 64 go sd card support

Dislike: rooting voids warranty. Kinda squishy side keys (power, vol)

iPhone likes:
Storage (128, finally all my music, scores of books, some iso files always handy). Camera is foine as shit.

iPhone dislike:
App Store restrictions means some app categories are just nonexistent (emulation, although Provenace via Xcode takes care of what I wanted for that; wifi scanners -- why can't I do that one? Wififofum was fucking handy). Premium finish means always worrying about nicks and cuts, so it lives in a case.
