How come Eclipse, the worst one out of these, is the most popular?
Lots of unis use it and most code monkeys can't be bothered to learn anything else
>NetBeans
>better than Eclipse
IntelliJ is legitimately the best but you're probably only using it because it's a meme.

Netbeans is decent
>>52365435
Netbeans is actually decent.
IDEA is the best but probably not worth it since most of the people using it don't even use half the features.

Our uni made us use IntelliJ because apparently businesses were getting fed up with retards that didn't know how to use it.

>using IDEs
>not using VIM + GCC in a BASH shell
SHIGGY DIGGY
Best is Visual Studio though senpai baka.

You'd be right if this was about anything but Java.
>>52365435
Because IBM
>>52365435
Anyone else think Java IDEs are heavy as fuck?
>>52366079
Now they are pissed of at people not knowing Eclipse
>>52366137
It's because they run on the JVM
Also, Swing
Jetbrains IDEs > everything
What's a good profiler for JetBrains IntelliMeme?
I like Eclipse. Used it for uC's and a windows program.
Currently using netbeans, and I don't care for it, though to be fair, I haven't used it near as much and I'm new to java.
Where the fuck is "exclude from build" if I want to save the current file but be able to go back to it if heavy edits get screwed up?

Wouldn't it fucking suck to use it on Linux. The font always looks terrible and you can't use the Windows-Key for muh shortcuts

I stilly prefer eclipse. There's way more of a community. To me intelliJ only has a few gimmicks like a better GUI-builder

>muh community
