Don't know whether to go with a 1440p monitor or 1440p monitor with G-Sync/144Hz? I narrowed it down to the the Dell U2715H or the ROG Swift (1st or 2nd Gen)?

I've seen the 1440p Dells in person, theyre actually quite nice.
If you can afford the 144hz, do it. You can utilize whenever you go above 60hz instead of wasting frames (assuming you play fast pace, racing, or FPS games).

OP here, I'm leaning towards the ROG Swift, the high refresh rate just feels so good even in normal desktop use. I guess I'll wait till Asus can sort out QC issues. They're not even in stock at most retailers.

True as well. The Dell does look great too. I wish Dell made an IPS with 144Hz. Dell build quality with great screen and refresh rate would be damn fine.
