Hi /g/,
Why haven't you moved your servers to Russia yet?
>>
>>52345354
because my server is a five year old dell latitute that i installed Windows Server 2016 Beta on and called it a day
not worth moving
>>
>>52345354
I have them on my own country as a good citizen. Its one of CIS countries
>>
But anon, I live in Moscow and I have my 3year old laptop with win server running in my basement
>>
>>52345354
because my servers are only truly secure in my house.
>>
>>52345354
Russia have even worse privacy protection than America.
>>
>>52345371
Where? I'm currently living it up in Kazakhstan.
>>
>>52345404
Well, after the Paris attacks, France is no better than Russia.
>>
>>52345415
Armenia, I have a VPS with abcdomain.am
>>
>>52345401
But if you live in a California suburb and there's a wildfire, your server is GONE.

So why not move it to fucking Russia?
>>
>>52345448
Noice, Is Armenia as bad as people say it is?
>>
Russia is too much freedom for me
>>
>>52345423
Yeah France and Europe in general is almost as bad as America. Except Iceland and Germany. All other places in Europe people hate privacy and encryption and view it as a islamist plot.
>>
>>52345451
I don't live in the US. Also my basement under the house was designed to survive floods and fire.
>So why not move it to fucking russia?
Because I consider russians as subhuman savages who should be all purged with biological weaponry.
>>
>>52345478
Where do you live then? Netherlands? Sweden? Finland?
>>
>>52345502
Poland.
>>
>>52345465
Bad in what sense? Economically it does, but people dont starve to death or stuff like that, its just that to buy a whim, you´ll have to save money for months. I live quite well by working on an environment protection agency
>>
>>52345448
Barev ahperik :)
>>
>>52345511
Well, Poland is part of the EU. Russia isn't. So Russia is superior!
>>
>>52345517
I wasn't saying Syria or Ethiopia bad, I just meant that the economy isn't overly good. Its not the best in Kazakhstan either.
>>
>>52345517
>>52345553
Allnof the cis is tied to ruudian economy pretty hard. Rssia is not having the best time with their economy and so does cis

Russia is secretly allied with the US though, they'll turn your shit over to NSA if asked. Did you never watch Stargate SG-1?
You want to hide stuff, move it to Best Korea.
>>
>>52345553
I still think that its better to live in Armenia than in EU at the moment with all the shit they are pushing there
>>
>>52345551
russians killed about 6 billions of my brothers and has occupied my country for about 120 years killing everybody who didn't comply with their communistic opinions, so no, you're not superior in any way, you're just a bunch of savages who should be exterminated in the most painful way. Even your current president says RUSSIA DIDN DO NUFFIN so yes, you're savages and yes, you should be all killed.
>>
>>52345578
Chigidey steh gone mihat hay car
>>
>>52345585
>6 billions
So, like the entire population of Earth up till about 2 years ago then?
>>
What country won't care what you host(excluding maybe CP and some other shit only sickos care about) and big enough to be completely ddosed by a single corporation?
>>
>>52345578
Yeah, at least we aren't being completely cukced over like the euro fags.
>>
>>52345585
Calm down Jakub
>>
>>52345606
*to not be
>>
>>52345606
DPRK, obviously
>>
Greetings from Moscow. We don't store our data on Russian servers either, usually some European company, but primarily anywhere that's not here.
>>
>>52345599
well, you're right, millions. I always though our million means billion in english.
>>
>>52345393
How is it in Moscow? I'd like to move there some day for...reasons.
>>
>>52345642
Pretty bad. Try Saint-Petersburg.
>>
>>52345415

What's it like?
Kazakhstan always looked like a nice, warm country.
>>
>>52345585
>polish
>says Russia is subhuman because hate boner
you funny guy.
>>
>>52345652
This. IVe never been to moscow, but I lived in saint petersburg for about two years total now. Beautiful city.
>>
>>52345606
Out of curosity what hosting solutions use c p and other bo tnet stuff to host?
>>
>>52345642
Internet is great though. I get 100/100 for arroud 7 bucks a month with no caps
>>
>>52345638
heh nprb anon.

this is billions for us:
6'000'000'000.
>>
>>52345658
Depends where you live, some areas are bad but if you find a nice city/town its good. Where you live now?

>>

Ukraine and NL servers are common for that. USA for botnets
>>
I definitely want to visit Poland one day.
>>
>>52345694

I live in Florida.

I wasn't thinking of moving, not unless things became horrible here.
I might like to visit sometime.

>russia being any better place to keep your servers than the US.
Yeah, there goes your redpill.
>>
>>52345716
>>52345705
Hola hola hola Poland is really nice щэ,I was there like 2 years ago and everything seemed great about it. And nobody said anything negative to me because I am Russian. You must be an autistic internet warrior , not listen to him , he brings shame to his own country
>>
>>52345652
Duly noted. Thanks!

>>52345681
Shit! I'm in New York City, 60/25 for $65.
>>
>>52345354
Because my servers are located inside a bunker in the netherlands and no one except the admins is even going to physically see them so I don't care.
>>
>>52345585

>muh 6 billion
>>
>>52345740
Do you have a cap ? I heard that its a thing in us of a
>>
>>52345733
Shame? What's shameful about keeping the memory of millions of Poles killed by russian aggressors?
>>
>>52345740
>60/25 for $65

15/5 $60

;_;
>>
>>52345752
It depends on the company. The one I'm using has no cap, but companies like Comcast do.
>>
>>52345740
In SPB it's even cheaper the last time I checked. Nowadays I just tether my phone with an unlimited 4g plan($5 a month).
>>
>>52345773
Holy fucking shit. I am so lucky my internet is god-tier . everything else tied to IT in Russia sucks mad dick though
>>
>>52345773
You poor bastard.
Where do you live, and what company? That should be illegal.
>>
>>52345784
Yota? How's the ping ? I get 20-35 in Moscow
>>
>>52345354
What, and use remote hands? They're already incompetent - why the fuck would I want them to be incompetent and foreign?
>>
>>52345743
Which provider is that?
>>
>>52345800
>>52345794

Times are getting tough.
I was considering dial-up again.

It's in Florida / Bright House.

It used to be 5/1 for the same price a year ago.
>>
>>52345784
>unlimited 4g plan($5 a month)
That's awesome. Is it actually unlimited?
There's this trend in the US where "unlimited 4G" isn't unlimited at all. With my service, if I use over 5GB of 4G data, then speeds go down to 3G. So really it's unlimited 3G.
I think my bill is $55.
>>
>>52345804
Yes(surprisingly, Moscow plan is more expensive). Ping to what country?
>>
>>52345831
I'm pretty sure if you don't live in a desert you can find a better isp ,no?
>>
>>52345850
To the closest server of speedtest , I am sure they have one in spb
>>
>>52345851

Only one out here.
Verizon doesn't touch the area and they normally try and shill DSL anyway.
>>
>>52345849
I usually use about 60g, no throttling.
>>
>>52345871
If you are desperate enough you can run fiber to you. That is always an option , but it would cost you a shit loads of money initially
>>
>>52345794
>>52345773
In Armenia I have 150/50 but only for 50GB/month, if I reach that limit, my speeds are 2/0.256 :(

Here you go
You got the basics down
>>
>>52345731
You need to know russian or kazakh. Where I live (Near northern border) most people speak both. A lot younger people know english now as well.
>>
>>52345731

it will be too late at that stage anon
>>

>15/5 $60

How about 1/1 $35
>>
>>52346180
Can you even watch YouTube without lag
>>
>>52346200
In 360p yes, but anything more is too laggy to view
>>
>>52346245
I feel for you man :/
>>
>>52346245
How the fuck do big companies like Netflix talk about 4k streaming when this poor man in USA can even pull off anything above 360p
Ridiculous
>>
>>52346180
What a racket.
Where do you live?
>>
>>52346301
4K streaming on Netflix isn't for the US. It's for countries which have actual broadband infrastructure (even Russia has this).
>>
>>52346314
>(even Russia has this).
Thanks Obama.
>>
>>52346372
It's George Bush's fault. Under Bush, broadband was deregulated so it became shit in the US. Too bad the EU wants to copy our shitty broadband.
>>
>>52345354
USA does not respect our privacy, that doesn't mean you find a better one in russia
>>
>>52346392
I know, I'm just being retarded.
I remember hearing how the government gave the telecom companies $200 billion to improve the infrastructure but they blew it.
>>

>>
>>52347204
No I live in a private house. Also I never saw your picrelated in my life
>>
>>52345476
Not really. Remember that Google was forced to implement the right to be forgotten and have any personal data linked to you removed from their servers if you requested so.

Also thanks to the EU most sites now notify you if they set cookies on your computer. The EU is much more concerned about people's rights for privacy than the US or Russia. In Russia the FSB most likely knows everything you're doing online.
