Are there any /g/ approved launchers for Android or are they all a fat waste of time? Talking of launchers in the regular store since I don't wanna bother to root and all that shit.
I've been running 4.4 for a couple years now and it's getting a little boring and sometimes lags a tad bit too much.

Try lightning launcher
It has a ridiculous amount of features, many of them very unique. For example, you can freely scale and rotate items and you can scroll both horizontally and vertically.
There is a learning curve, but you can do some pretty amazing things with it

Nova launcher
Using Nova for 2 years, is there any foss that's better yet? KISS is too edgy and I need grouping/folders. Catapult doesnt support 4.4

The only reason I have to use an alternative launcher is the vertical scrolling in the app drawer, but for some reason in Nova and Apex it's choppy, and if I'm going to use horizontally scrolled cards I might as well stick to the stock LG launcher.
