Need some tech support boys: SOMETIMES when i turn on my pc i get a beep AFTER the post beep which has a different tone to it, and then one of my fans starts to give out strange sounds (like its working really hard or something is fucked) anyway then i just tap the back of my pc and everything goes back to normal, the fan noise stops.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SECOND BEEP AFTER THE POST BEEP?

Good. I built a 4690k machine in a Define R5 last May. Running Antergos with a GTX 960 and she's ready for Pascal and 4k later this year

I've been using my girlfriend's 2013 MBP. It's sluggish even with the i5 and 8GB, the HDD is slow, she has too much shit on it, and she forgot her keychain password and it asks for the password every ten minutes. Help me.

it's okay. have an FX-6350 with a 4GB GTX 670. waiting for Zen and Polaris before I make my next build. Might buy a Polaris card earlier though, if Zen is shit at least I can make an Intel build with a Polaris card

I'm just hoping that buying used components is a safe bet, and that the PSU in the Hadron is of good quality.

Just upgraded my monitor for the first time in over 5 years. Moving from a Dell U2211 to a Dell U3415w is a pretty huge upgrade.
I figure in another 5 years I'll probably upgrade to some OLED monitor as prices come down.
Not great, it's like a 5 year old gaming rig that I build for $550, so it really can't run a whole lot these days and the video card get uncomfortably hot just watching movies with mpv.
I don't think I want to build another desktop, so I'm just slowly saving money and looking into high end laptops like he Dell XPS 15 or 15 inch Retina Macbook Pro. I'm sort of hoping if I wait long enough Apple will refresh their offering and actually offer a tier with a gaming capable graphics card. I don't even need much, just to be able to play Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and World of Warcraft.
