I work in rocket propulsion manufacturing and I'm pretty tied in to the entire US precision machining/CNC/automation industry and know many of the suppliers of Apple's production machinery. Those of us working in this industry would know at a minimum 2 years in advance if Apple was moving/building that kind of infrastructure stateside.
