just look up mITX cases on newegg, /g/ can't just give you the "best" what are you going to do with the build? Water cooling? Storage? Just look for gods sake
>>
>>52257849
Just did a build with that case yesterday and it's pretty great, definitely worth it if you really care about looks or desk space

Coolermaster elite 130 and 110 are both great cases, did mine in a 130 and gf's in 110. The 110 can be a bit tight but it works well, I prefer my 130 though because the extra room is super nice.

I didn't know what op wanted in his build, the bitfenix prodigy is good for water cooling and air flow. Just a good modular case too me
>>
i guess i just dont see the point of a super tiny case. is it just for ease of portability or the jollies of gaming on something that tiny?
>>
>>52259173
easy portability, if you're a guy with friends lan parties are an exception, easy to place (low profile) in a tight place
>>
silverstone raven mini itx or the ml-series version without the fancy front-plate.

Seriously, what's the point of going Mini ITX if your system's footprint is the same or larger than a normal ATX tower?
>>

wont a laptop work just as well. its not like you can get any decent gpus in there and not burn up with how small it is

Yea you're right. There is an age limit and you're apparently under it. Baka.

At least cases like the CM Elite 130 can fit just about any video card. And the carda don't HAVE to be blower cards either. Not to mention the drastically reduced priced compared to the ncase.

Anyhow. Elite 110 here. Have a silverstone sfx 450w, pentium itx build housed in it. Great little case and for $25, was a steal. Just don't get it if you're looking for a case that can handle larger video cards. Although a fury nano would be right at home. Or even a full fury X if you don't use the only 120mm spot for the cpu cooler

I built a home NAS in a Lian-Li PC-Q25, excellent case. Has a SATA backplane built into it, holds my 5-drive RAID array plus a host SSD. I think the case holds up to 8 drives, maybe even more if you use every possible slot. Highly recommended if you are doing a mITX NAS build.

i've been looking at the gechic fhd ips screens (specifically the 2501h) but they run about $350+ and thats a little steep for a screen
>>
>>52265452
If you get the LCD off eBay and diy the housing, it can be about $75.
Adaper - $30
LCD - $35 - $70 (depending on source)
The cost of the housing depends on how cheap you can find/ make one.

I found some unbranded shells for $10ea, but the guy sold all he has I think, and most other shells I've seen are $30+
>>
>>52257849
The one in your picture is solid, lot of good features and it's built well, but I find it super ugly. If I had to actually choose the "best" I'd have to go with the NCase M1, but that's priced just like you would assume the best of something would be. For more reasonable choices, I really like the Fractal Node 202 and Core 500. Fractal really just kills it these days.

Corsair 250D and EVGA Hadron Air get special mentions, the 250D is nice but it's unusually long to me and the Hadron Air is actually super nice, but the build comes out looking pretty shit because it's drive cage position and the non-blacked out cables from it's proprietary power supply. Basically if they made a Hadron Air with a non-windowed side panel, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
>>
What's a good Mini ITX case for portability? I'd like something small with a dank carrying handle. I'd almost consider an EVGA Hadron Air, but it doesn't have any handles.
>>
>>52265366

and Bitfenix itx and micro atx cases are gold as dicks as well.
>>
>>52258374

Is it possible to pop the Tt logo off the front? I have been looking for a mini-itx case that I can build into a product, and don't want the logo showing.

I am currently using the CoolerMaster Elite 110, and like the cheap price, but on that case the logo in front is a blue LED lit power button, so discrete and clean it is not.

Does anybody have a mini-itx case where the mfgr's logo can be easily popped off or hidden, leaving a super clean look?
>>
>>52258609
No, the RVZ01 is an excellent case, although I prefer the ML08B-H alternative
>>
What's the point of a Mitx case if it doesn't have a handle. Either get a laptop of full case

Totally unrelated: Is NZXT on anybody else's no-buy-list? Why would they bother trying (and impressively failing) to make a 'high end' case that people with money want. Their flagship is a gaudy hunk of plastic bullshit.
>>

Cheap as all fuck and one of the smallest mini-itx cases out there that can still house large PSUs and long GPUs.

Also fractal node 304, but it's way more expensive.

This shit is retardedly huge. Completely defeats the point of an itx system if you're using a fucking hulking tower as your case. Also it would be easy as hell to make it fall on its side.

It's still retarded because you have no option but to have it standing up since they designed it in such a way that GPU cooling is on one side and cpu cooling on the other.

Nope, that's a piece of shit. I had one.

>can only fit a special short powersupply from Silverstone (that's overpriced)
>can't fit a proper CPU cooler
>can only fit those tiny all-in-one watercoolers
>i5 4590k reaches almost 80 degrees Celsius on load because of these limitations

>only fits one 3.5" drive
>have to pay extra for slim DVD/Bluray drive

I switched to the SG10 really soon afterwards and despite it not being that much bigger, it's a hell of a lot better
>can fit 2 3.5" drives and 4 2.5" drives
>can fit fullsized CPU cooler
>can fit a proper powersupply
>can fit big graphics cards
>good airflow
Still uses the slim drives though

False, it is only an rvz02 with different outside aesthetics and laying the rvz02 on its side only changes temps by a few degrees, nothing significant

I'm out and don't have a pic but the max CPU temp I've recorded was 75C with prime95 and highest gpu temp was 80C while running 3Dmark I think. Max gaming temps are ~60C cpu and ~75C gpu.

Worth noting: I have a custom gpu fan curve but I didn't mess with it much, just so the fan stays on below 65C. Otherwise my idle temps are in the 50s
>>
>>52272989
Ive never used it so im not sure.

Look for the thread on [H]ardforum for some more info
>>
>>52274625
That's what I've been doing in the last few minutes. The only issue I can foresee, is the GPU having limited clearance, so small feet should be added to allow bottom intake, and that ridiculous power button cabling combined with an offset 140mm fan, preventing a radiator (from my H50 AIO) from being added.
>>
>>52274690
Maybe you could rig it so that it fits with the rad outside the case?
I dunno, asking in thar thread would probably get you the best results.
