yes, the Note5 battery life and extra GB of RAM are more than worth it over the current S6.
The Spen is pretty good though and you might finding yourself using it more than you thought.

The nexus 6P I would argue is right up there with it as well, but I prefer the Note5 for the better screen and having Exynos7420 which wont overheat.

shock proof, water proof, physical buttons, huge battery
only downside is touchjizz and some bad memory management but the phone is rock solid and fast

My friend has one and it JUST got 5.1.1 a few weeks ago.
