Tried using it after the official release of leap. The amount of time I wasted trying to get my printer (which worked in every fucking os/distro) to work was mind boggling. I trashed it after 2 days. I think such tool would be only useful for a business.

If you're just a normal desktop Linux fag who wants to post on /g/ and watch anime, YaST is useless. However it's amazing if you're a power user but abhor having to manually write out your configs.

That's why I'd say opensuse is the best distro for OP's criteria, because its definitely for power users but for some reason gets treated as a 'beginner distro' because it doesn't intentionally make everything difficult.
