Are there any scripts to automatically save all cached images to a folder? Even better, sort by threads?
Otherwise, I guess I could have a go at coding one myself.

Aa userscript that lets you hide messages to images on chans. I finally got it working on palememe and will start posting messages again.

you log in on the login tab, give it a password and a salt.
Then you open a post form on 4chan and type a post.
then you write a second post using ddt and attach an image there.
then you solve the captcha on 4chan and click crypt and send in ddt.
send broadcast so people can add you to their contacts. If you have contacts, you can send messages that only them can send.
Don't touch the danger zone.

suddenly it went offline.
Made this bash function here, kept it simple as possible. Once started, it downloads all images and goes into idle, waiting for new images until CTRL+C. Save this into ~/.bashrcinb4()

Ychan works by giving it a board. (eg/h/,/gif, /hr/). It will then rip ALL images off the board and separate them into separate folders (every thread gets their own folder). Then it scans every x seconds for new images on the whole board. Set x to a lower number if you're ripping images from a really active board (eg/b/)

Check out SpookyX, it works for most of the archive boards and has a shitload of features.
Also Mouseover Popup Image Viewer is fantastic and greatly enhances 4chan (if only for its image/video zooming capabilities) - even if you already have something like 4chan-X installed. But yeah it lets you look at images without having to open each in a new tab/window when on the few archive boards that are not based on FoolFuuka, like rbt.asia
