Are fancy office/desk/gaymen chairs worth the money, /g/? I've been using a goddamn wooden kitchen chair for about ten years now and find it perfectly acceptable, but I'm still considering spending $150 on something that looks like it was ripped out of a car. It has to be better... right?

I'm fat and have back issues. sit 10 hours daily due to my job yes, it was worth it. Not having days where I can't even walk from pain is totally worth it.. I'm rocking an aeron size c at home and work
To repeat what I said yesterday, if you cannot afford a good chair and a good desk, buy a good chair and skimp on the desk.
Even the flimsiest IKEA tabletop will be sufficient for daily use, as long as the legs are assembled fine and the surface is flat, but your body will thank you if you use a good chair.
