Why is it that i feel a relief when switching between Windows

Why is it that i feel a relief when switching between Windows and Linux and end up on Linux? What is this witchery?

I use the same shit on Windows and on Linux (Sublime + Chrome) and it just feels different.

And the suspend time on Linux is crazy. I just sit there and wait for Windows to suspend, while Linux suspends almost imediately.

Arch only gives you a comand line. OP installed xfce as that is his preference probably. You can go with Gnome,kde,lxde,lxqt,cinnamon,mate,unity,phanteon etc just as well. And then you can customize it with extensions and themes.
