I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your waifu and I realized that she isn't actually anime. Every anime on this weebsite instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with its surrounding environment, but Maki does not. She moves to an imageboard and she multiplies and multiplies until every anime is maki, and the only way she can survive is to spread to another forum. There is another entity on this website that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A meme. Nishikino Maki is a disease, a cancer of this board. You are a plague, and john cena is the cure.

Even the btrfs version on debian stable has served me well in the past 4 years.
Tested btrfs and ext4 on a fucked up drive for a year, ext4 chocked easily and went read-only on error until it was completely broken, btrfs kept working and found/repaired errors

What are the advantages of using XFS instead of EXT4 in a server?

IIRC it's slightly faster than ext4 when running a DB server

Good at handling very large files, like databases, virtual machines, etc. Some people also say that it scales better but I found its the opposite if you're using LVM...

NTFS is NOT a bad filesystem, I want this meme to end.

Its pretty lackluster performance-wise yes but it's not horribly slow either. The fragging issue is also mostly solved, it doesn't happen anymore unless you're installing a shit-load of software.

In the mean time NTFS has every feature you could want in a filesystem: the master index, self-healing, detecting and repairing of bad blocks on a disk, transparent filesystem compression, on-line defrag, on-line disk check and a ton of other things. If you want a 'bad' filesystem look at HFS+, that thing is irredeemable trash

There's tons of abysmally bad filesystems, but most of them were rightfully abandoned instead of being kept on permanent life support and actually still being used in operating systems to this day.
