No you can't. You can't hear over 20KHz either.
You are supposed to increase scaling od everything so instead of using subpixel rendering for font rendering you can use actual pixels, which are more densely packed.
I don't know if you can set scaling of a tty, so that would be a pain in the ass to do anything

Not even him, but take your almost certainly high PPI smartphone out, load a page on it and your computer's screen, place the phone up to the screen and zoom the text on your phone to the same size on both displays. If you can't see a very clear difference then you literally have vision problems.

There's a difference between perceiving a higher visual quality and being able to pick out individual pixels.
Which you could do if the screen were large enough and/or you got close enough to it.
