Everyone who respects themselves even a little bit does not use Chrome. I don't give two shits about the dumbasses who do. We don't need this thread every hour. This is the world that they have chosen.

Uh, these are all optional features. Browse in incognito mode and uncheck a few boxes and you're good.
>Every URL you begin to type in the addressbar is sent to Google...
Yeah, welcome to 2015+1, you are going to search the term anyway, so sending parts of it to Google or whatever search engine doesn't make a difference.
This being said I'd love to change to Firefox, but Firefox on iOS sucks ass and doesn't support 1Password/LastPass so its pretty worthless.
Even on Windows it seems lacking compared to Chrome. I don't know if it's the addons I'm running or what, but I find it crashing at least once a month on me while I Chrome hardly ever crashes and I don't ask much. I usually have just couple tabs.

Oh and favicons have been broken on OS X as long as I can remember

I'd say it's worth the trade-off since Chrome is probably the fastest browser out there. Firefox is slow as fuck and mostly run by SJWs, and I've yet to find any meme browser that meets the speed and functionality of Chrome.
