Is 2GB ram enough?
How's the battery life?

4 hours screen on time according to android authority, so not great but not shit tier.
>>52203064
oh and 2GB is fine, 3GB is overkill atm.
>>52202404
yes
good
2GB is always enough on stock android
don't know about chinese botnet android
>>52202404
2GB should be enough. Sadly, it isn't for lollipop. More ram=less crashes.

fuggg
the redmi note 3 has 3gb ram, 32gb rom, bigger battery and fingerprint scan but it's 80€ more, is it worth it? For that price I could get a mi4c instead

Not true on 6.0. I have 2GB and it gets low on RAM and slows down occasionally. I close things and it speeds up.
640K ought to be enough for anybody
4GB Oneplus 2 reporting in. Gets close to 2GB but never even touches 3 in any situation what so ever. 4GB life is one of looooots of overhead. I wouldn't worry with current Android.

I have it.
Never maxed max Ram, but on average 500-800 mb are free.
Battery lasts about 3.5 hours on 4G browsing

That's actually fucking awful
>>52202404
Yes, it's enough for almost everyone. I'm sure they'll find ways to gobble it up eventually, but right now, 2GB RAM runs tons of apps plus the fat MIUI just fine.
>>52203064
Seems way off. Pic related.
>>52203216
And no MicroSD and no removable battery.
> fingerprint scan
... placebo security, why even lock the phone at all.

I have a Galaxy Nexus for 4 years now, never replaced the battery and never felt 16gb wasn't enough
I'm more worried about ram and battery life, fingerprint scan is a nice feature but can live without it

Well, I'm not going to stop you from buying the Mi4C or Redmi Note 3, they're still decent devices.
But personally, with as many batteries that died in the family (on HTC, Apple, whatever phones), I'm largely getting replaceable battery phones.
And for most people it's true that they'll need more storage eventually... which is probably really why many major vendors don't add microSD slots to higher-end phones. Gives people a reason to upgrade later.
Mine goes a full day with normal use. 2GB is definitely enough.

Okay. Thanks

i have 3GB on 6.0.1 and i never use more than 1 - 1.25GB desu.
i do some pretty light usage but still i cant imagine my phone going to 1.5 or 2GB
