Hello /g/
How would one go about going through TOR and then a VPN on a Tails installation?
Would be handy to be able to hide the fact that one uses TOR, while still using it.

What? You just install tails then tor and do through a VPN. Are you stupid?

That's not exactly the case. That would cause VPN -> TOR -> internet.
I want TOR -> VPN -> internet.
You should use obfuscated bridges. Look that up.

Would that hide the fact that i am using TOR?
Just to be sure, you've installed Tails on a USB and not your hard drive right?

Yes. Of course.
>>>52196398
And how would that be a good idea?
>>52196970
How would it not be a good idea? I could browse sites that does not allow TOR, and also i would be able to have a static IP, while still being anonymous.

Just use a VPN alone then.
>>52197014
That would require me to trust some VPN provider, which i do not.
>>52197027
I assume you would be using a free VPN then. If that is the case, most sites that block Tor will also be blocking IP's affiliated with that VPN

I would be able to authenticate and use the VPN from TOR, meaing my real IP would never reach the VPN provider.
The benefits of a VPN as stated above stand the same however.
