Jelly, how is it compared to a regular SSD? Is it like making the HDD -> SSD switch all over again?
>>

Everything that isn't CPU dependent is basically instantaneous. Horribly optimized games like Ark will load in about 10 seconds; where it used to take considerably longer. Booting takes about the same though, I didn't see any difference between the boot time on this versus my 850.

How many drives in that raid?
>>

Just 2 of them
>>

Tfw 2tb of data for price of 250gb 850 evo
>>
>>52186975
a 500mib test fits into the ram cache of those drives, those are completely unrealistic speeds for a 2 drive hdd raid
>>
>>52187137
How the fuck are you getting that high reads then? That's what you'd expect from two SATA SSD in raid 0.
>>

And that explains it..

You guys even trying?
>>
>>52187172
64mb cache x 2 = 128mb. Not 500. It may be affected but the drives are already pretty good speeds. 7200rpm/sata3 btw.
>>
>>52186975
You must have something similar to Samsung Magician's rapid mode installed, because those speeds are impossible
>>
>>52187189
Nice RAM benchmark faggot
>>
>>52187189
>RAPID
nice try
>>
>>52187192
you're right, my bad
but it still affects performance quite a bit, a 5 GB test would give more realistic numbers
>>
>>52187183
>>52187199
1gb test yields the same speeds, will post screencap.

i'm an idiot, i just realized i was looking at qd32 numbers instead of qd1
still, pretty nice speeds for an hdd setup
