I already have the HP 50G for RPN, I was looking at the HP prime to replace the 89, but it looks like the Nspire is the better option.

Anyway, it's just an open source wrapper for the freely vailable TI operating systems available from the Ti site - works up to the Ti-89 series.
The app is called Graph 89 and it's on F-Droid, so theoretically one could make their own sexy keypad UI... if I were talented I'd take a stab, but alas, I am a design-illiterate cretin.

the nspire is great, and yes, get the CAS 100%. CX or original, it doesn't really matter. I have the cx, and my friend has the original. They're both nice and do a good job. The interfaces are essentially the same, but the cx is a bit faster and has a sexy colorful back-lit display.
