Create a new bootable USB, your installation looks corrupt.

going to try that, will return with success. hopefully in linux.
>>52177866
use rufus instead of whatever you used
also, check the md5sum of your iso against where you downloaded it. you can wait to do that until after you fuck it up again.
>>52177777
Check'd
>>52177966
i just used command prompt to make the usb bootable. is rufus a better way?
>>52177777
>>52177985
assuming you're on windows, yes. if you're using dd, that "should" work better. depends on the distro.
you should only get kernel panics if something is corrupted, though, so as long as you don't get any weird behavior, it should work.
is the flash drive fat32?
>>52178074
no i used ntfs quick format
>>52177777
That is like telling people to kill themselves, it does not solve the problem.
>>52178093
>NTFS
>>52178093
mmm. use rufus. it'll format it for you.
>>52178110
any settings in rufus i should change? i changed to fat32.
>>52178134
that, select the iso, and select the right device to load it to. should be fine.
>>52177777
sick
>>52178134
oh, quick format is needed. and only if your computer is new should you select UEFI.
>>52178166
it is set for BIOS and UEFI
>>52178200
that's fine.
>>52177777
The Messiah has spoken.

Welcome to Linux. This is the most user friendly version. Now imagine the headache an advanced distro brings. Why all the he trouble you may ask yourself. Stolen movies, music, programs and child pornography make people paranoid as hell.
