Monitors are definitely something you want to purchase with a good returns policy (backlight bleed, dead pixels, uniformity etc) so just stick to Amazon
Why do so few monitors have a proper stand that lets you adjust the height, go portrait mode.

I have that exact monitor, its good for games but not much else, has 1 stuck pixel but i dont notice it much. 144hz is very nice and instantly recogniasable
Why not just get the best of both worlds. I'm planning to pick up this when I move, and an Asus PG279Q whenever they come back in stock.
