Please can someone help me with it.

certainly there's a readme that tells you build instructions

after extracting there are bunch of deb files

You don't install programs that way in Linux. Use your package manager.

sudo dpkg -i *.deb

I used this to install LibreOffice from .deb files.
>>
>>52169297
Open terminal inside the folder of .deb files first.

thanks man you saved my day

which deb file should I install???

I just used this command in terminal, it took care of everything by itself. LibreOffice was in my program list after that.

if you're wondering what >>52169297 does, a breakdown:

sudo - gets elevated privileges needed to install some applications and use the package manager
dpkg - debian package manager, it's being invoked here to manage the installation
-i - a flag to say, install anything after this
*.deb - a regular expression? (i forget what these are called) that matches anything ending in .deb, the * is a wildcard that means anything at all up but ending in .deb is matched to this and this command is applied

when this command is ran in the folder of the files, it will find all files ending in .deb and install them with the debian package manager, probably giving you some prompts to install where you just press Y or type Yes and press enter

everything in that folder looks like it's a dependency for codeblocks, so it will all need to be installed if it's not already installed, which will be handled by the command

why kali ?

Here is a step by step guide for Ubuntu. I am not sure why you are using Kali Linux, it is not meant for day to day use ask a desktop or coding platform.

Switch to a debian based distro to avoid dependency issues.

sudo rm -rf /

>>52169540
kali is debian based, retard

kali is debian based disrtro

>>52169556
It is not a mainstream distro that comes with all the required packages for a desktop.

I think it's generally just called a wild card or klein star. I doubt the shell can work with more articulated regular expressions without the invocation of some other command, like grep.

i never said it wasn't

you can add packages from another distro, genius

Why the hell would you use Kali on something other than a USB? You are going to have tons of trouble installing everything a normal distribution needs. It's like using a bulldozer or a excavator as your regular car, it is created with a completely different purpose. You need to add this, and that and this. Instead of just getting a distro intended to be used as a daily distro, which Kali is not.

They took away all stuff except pen-testing and security stuff so it could easily fit and be run on a USB. They never imagined anyone would be programming on it except quick scripts.

Get mint or something, jeez. That way you wont bother us with "how do i install stuff" and all the other questions you would never otherwise ask if you used a sensible distro and kept the kali distrobution on a usb when you need it like intended.
>>
You're not actually meant to install Kali and use it as a normal distribution, even the developers tell people this.

Just go back to Windows if you're this dumb/young.

But I want to be a hacker...
>>
>>52169677
Then use Fedora or Arch. Fedora especially has some really good development tools packaged in the ISO.

Have a copypasta, kinda old, but likely still fresh
You know what? I'll throw you a bone and pretend you're not an edgy teenager. I'm assuming you already know how to program enough to use a programming language and research libraries.

1. Grab Kali Linux:
https://www.kali.org/

2. Learn metasploit (penetration testing/script kiddie shit):
http://www.amazon.com/Metasploit-The-Penetration-Testers-Guide/dp/159327288X

3. Learn some actual software exploits you can find in the wild (go through every example):
http://www.amazon.com/Hacking-The-Art-Exploitation-Edition/dp/1593271441

4. Learn the ins and outs of assembly:
http://www.amazon.com/Assembly-Language-x86-Processors-7th/dp/0133769402

5. Get familiar with IDA, OllyDBG, or radare:
https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/index.shtml
http://www.ollydbg.de/
http://radare.org/r/

6. Then you should be comfortable enough to participate in some war games:
http://smashthestack.org/
http://www.wechall.net/challs/

Or maybe some CTF style competitions:
http://ictf.cs.ucsb.edu/
https://ctf.isis.poly.edu/
>>
>>52169677
you are too retarded to do that
>>
>>52169677
Lrn 2 program first

Use mint/*buntu/deepin, learn the bash command shell use vim+g++ to do your c++, or use a better general use language. C++ jas its uses but something tells me you aren't doing anything that needs it.

Then haxor all you want
