OPX looks like a great phone except for lacking a lot of the LTE bands useful in the US/Canada. Especially band 12/17.
That being said, I'd still consider it if I was looking into getting a new phone. However, I am happy with my 5X because I don't have any issues and it is getting fast updates (new emoji, woop woop).
5X issues are non-existent for me. I think the issues that have been reported are from a small minority of users who are very vocal since they are having issues. The vast majority of 5X users are having a great experience with the phone.

The G4 doesn't come with wireless charging, you have to buy a back cover containing the NFC+WC chips. It's true that Canadian carriers only stock PMA LGG4 accessories for some dumb fucking reason but I bought a $3 chink cover off of Ebay and it works perfectly with my Nexus 5 Qi charger.

Just installed JDCTeam CM12 on my 2,5y old S4, got a new Flip Cover and Anker Battery for 20€ as well, the 64GB µSD Card is still good judging by some read/write tests.

First off, hardware slowdown isn't lag. Lag has to do with the delay between devices on a network, or user input and recognition. Low framerate and hardware slowdown is not lag.
