Because it simply is LG's version of what Samsung has been doing for years with the Note line. Their flagships from April are no longer in the mainstream with posters taken down and reviews lost in the sea of other tech news. We don't hear many advertisements about the G4 or the S6/e line anymore, it's all about the S6e+ and the Note 5, and for LG, the V10. It's just another filler device to keep their name in the mainstream advertisements until April. I have one as of now, after coming from a G4 and before that the S6e. The device has an amazing build, I hope to see something like this from the G5, but the same problems with the G4 arose. Crappy battery life (3 hours SOT usually, power user of course) and lag spikes because of the stock LG ROM. I was running CM on the G4 for a while and all was good, but the V10 caught my eye. I regret purchasing it, and after seeing the new design on the Samsung Beta program, I'll probably get a Samsung in April. The 808 on the V10 sucks as always, but it's a nice hand warmer during the winter.

Its heavy as shit compared to the note, but I still like it, I thought the 2nd screen was a gimmick bit its useful to see notifications up there instead of on screen, free sd card and extra battery are nice too.
Just get a grippy case and upgrade the software so you can use the fingerprint sensor

Camera is insane, everything fast and crisp, display is amaze balls. Waterproof would be nice for something so rugged, but hey.
The only missing thing was wireless charging, and that's only on Amerifat models... My $8 replacement nfc/qi sticker arrives tomorrow from Chinaman.

It's a breddy gud phone. Only gripe with a large phone like this is it has no precision stylus input. In this regard I would always choose a Note 4 over this every time.
For someone that doesn't are about that, the V10 is a great choice however.

I have the G4 as of now and I get around 8 hours of heavy usage with no lag spikes at all on 811n firmware, possibly carrier has different affects on the rom but T-Mobile G4 is solid.
