Aren't that a cute way to describe sweatshop. if you like chink and their product so much why don't you just move there then you can enjoy their shit all day everyday. Good luck with tyranny government, welfare thinner than paper, and a land full of pollution, also say goodbye to your rights and freedom. Trust me, brother, I've been through those. I'm against calling people cucks, but the person who doesn't buy directly from China is the cuck.

The real difference between "china shit" and "american made" is that the parent company sprung to send a white man to the factory floor in China to oversee quality.

That's literally all there is. Probably less than 1% of the price difference goes to ensuring quality, all the rest goes into the pockets of useless wealthy western middle-men who have become adept at convincing the western middle class that they serve some kind of purpose.

That extra money is going to stay in my pockets, enriching me, and the bloated do-nothing business class are going to have to get with the times if they want a future.
>>
>>52968872
Those things are awesome for the price.

Last time I was camping with friends it could light something at 30 m easily.
>>
>>52969755
>That extra money is going to stay in my pockets enriching me
And you gain less money because your economy isn't functional. Wealth inequality skyrockets as money for lower-wage earners vanishes, leading to political instability.
The advantage of being able to buy two pieces of plastic crap instead of one isn't worth the self-destruction of a nation.
>>
>>52969881
yes it is
not my fault you cucks can't manage your wealth
>>
>>52967758
The stuff they sell here is not made here anyway.
>>
>>52969881
Except the lower-wage manufacturing jobs were already gone before you were even born. Those jobs are in China no matter who you buy your goods from.

I'm not opposed to paying extra to support the American working class, but that's not the case anymore.

Now, the people who profit from domestic consumer goods aren't hard working Americans... they're the same wealthy businessmen who moved their manufacturing bases overseas in the first place.

The difference here is because Banggood and Gearbest are both like DX and offer the wares they can get, while Aliexpress is a place where a lot of different (small/big) shops can exist. That's why ordering from Banggood/Gearbest is (currently) safer.

They're serious shops, but I don't agree. Aliexpress is just as safe if you use that dispute button as appropriate if necessary. It's no harder than theoretically disputing BG / GB with Paypal.

I got this tenkyeless keyboard from BangGood that allows you to swap the switches. Then I'll get Gateron Reds from Massdrop and put them there.
Massdrop is also having a drop for this same keyboard plus the switches and it's still about 20$ more expensive than getting the keyboard from based China and the switches from Massdrop. It should also get through customs more easily.

>I too like my 7046LTX

You're entitled to your own opinion, but I would strongly recommend you re-evaluate it.

This knife has:
-fugly design
-stupid tanto blade that makes it 100% useless for self-defence
-pointless and mostly non-ergonomic wrench
-hideous colour combinations

With the 7010, for example, you're getting one of the most famous knife designs in the world (sebenza) for $10, a blade that can actually do something other than cutting paper and sticky tape, and a stylish design to go with it.
And of course, there are many other clone knives by Sanrenmu, Ganzo, et. al. that follow this same formula and are worth purchasing.

>>52971815
>>52971782
Yea, you can find many knives with shorter blades, like pic related
>>
>>52972000
Xiaomi has a system, but like as much of the more domestic goods (like air purifiers, smart scales etc) that they make, it's not exported by many resellers, and almost only at a pretty hefty markup.
>>
>>52972030
> stupid tanto blade that makes it 100% useless for self-defence
Self-defence of what? If someone -or more likely for that extreme case, a group- threatens me with lethal weapons, I actually just back down and let the police handle it later.

If I wanted to play cowboy myself, I'd wear a bulletproof vest and carry a gun, but even then I'd only hope to have some success by surprise (or by interfering on behalf of 3rd parties).

Certainly not going to fight with a knife.

> hideous colour combinations
I like them.

> a blade that can actually do something other than cutting paper and sticky tape
It can't cut paper and sticky tape and stuff as well, so... yea, I prefer the 7046LTX, despite having both.

Guess what, I do that stuff more than, say, wood carving.

I don't know shit about peripherals
A sata to usb adapter would be nice so I can use some old harddrives quickly. If a peripheral is marketed as USB 3.0 compliant does that mean I will get better speeds when using a USB3.0 port? Does it make much of a difference or should I just get the first generic Chinese one I see?

That's not as big a problem for USB3 which allows for more power over the bus. Of course, unless you're a pleb, you're probably running an SSD over it so power requirements aren't a problem with those anyway.
