Recently bought a msi r9 390 for christmas, install it and turn it on, everything is black, the monitor is reading, tried different PCI slots, clean ram but nothing happens after all that

How many video out connections does the card have. Have you tried waiting a while and (winKey+p) to duplicate the desktop on all video outs?
I have the 390 too and it worked for me, best bet is that your tipped the faggot alarm and thew card An Heroed. Just buy a 970, razer keyboard and all will be fine.

the power connectors on the top of the card, not the slot it goes in. a 6 pin plug and an 8 pin plug. you need those for it to power on
