Secondly, im looking for a gaming headset that I can wear for hours and hours without getting getting a headache or having my ears feel sore.
I first tried the Sony Gold headset, but the hard plastic on the inside of earphones agitates and presses on the cartilage of my ears. I then sold that and bought a Turtle Beach Ear force PX24 with isn't uncomfortable on my ears, but puts too much pressure on the sides of my head and gives me more headaches.
You're all fucking useless and I already don't trust any advice you will/will not give me. Thanks.

Walk into an electronics store and try on all the demos. Get a Sanheiser pair because it's a good brand that lasts forever.
And don't get a GAYMEN headset because for the price you'll get a less good set of headphones and mic then if you got some nice headphones and any mic you wanted.

I walked into an electronics store, tried on all the demos, and walked out with the Turtle Beach PX24.
But of course, after extended wear, they become fucking intolerable. I have to get them off my head just to avoid pain. WHAT THE FUCK. Headphones shouldnt fucking hurt after using them for an hour! And im not gonna stand in the store waiting for hours to see how long it takes to get uncomortable, so my only actual option is to ask people on the internet. And OF COURSE, everyone thinks that every headset is the "best" "most comfortable" piece of head plastic that they've ever experienced the pleasure of throwing money at, even listing the two headphones I had previously owned and disowned. So Im kindof fucked. How do I know what will be comfortable? Most people just say shit that they don't mean. It really shouldn't be this difficult to find a good headset.

Trying to keep it cheap? Corsair Raptor HS40. Got them for $45. Giant ear cups with faux leather padding. Theyre big, bulky, but comfortable. Good mic.
Unlimited budget? (since you mentioned turtlebeach) i bought Steel Series H wireless for $250. Amazing. Plain and simple. 4-5 stars on all major vendors with the only mahority complaint being price.

My meme50xs (ATH M50x, recommended by MKBHD) are pretty comfy. I use them all day (literally), and I've also gamed a bit in them (I'm not really a gaymer). They were a bit uncomfortable in the very beginning tho.

Have had a pair of these for a while. They are comfy as fuck. I usually do gaymen sessions of 4-5 hours and they never bother me. Connects through USB so after I sold my PS3 and built my PC I could still use em. Never found a reason to replace em. Mic quality is good. I've never had a good pair of headphones to compare em to but IMO the sound quality is really good. Pretty even distribution for the highs mids and bass.
