HDB is top tier in terms of content. AHD is tier below. You could just complement AHD with couple of other good HD trackers, like HDT, M-Team, etc., they are easier to get into. It's better to have them all, though, because sometimes some stuff you might find seeded on one tracker which is not seeded on another or for internals which aren't always being reuploaded elsewhere. But if you mostly watch mainstream movies, you shouldn't bother, PTP + AHD has most of what HDB has to offer. For obscure shit you'll need more.

It's not hard to get good seeders. Damn near everyone in private trackers seeds indefinitely because that's the way you play the game. People who upload content are way more valuable to the site.
