People who want an easy to use system that's not something debian based?

Love it. Been running it for best part of 18 months, and its been fine.

inb4 the certificate issue (which everyone says happened, but I didn't even notice it).

The community is friendly, which is more than can be said for arch.

I want to see their implementation of XFCE.

I love this "Mint is good" meme. Why not just install Ubuntu and Cinnamon and enjoy actually getting critical security patches on time and your shitty GNOME spinoff?

They would have to make a conscious choice to connect to the AUR.
Manjaro has it's own cut of the AUR, which is about 2 weeks after the arch repos. So consider arch users to be beta testers for Manjaro.
>>

Every package in manjaro is out of date.

Every other skid can saturate a mid range hoster's uplink now, so your datacenter should know what they are doing.

Yeah wow that's such a huge and well made point anon. Shame manjaro doesn't come with the same warning, because it should.

Moreover, SSL is deprecated as per IETF RFC 7568 https://tools.ietf.org/html/RFC7568 Use TLS instead, preferably TLS 1.2.

pkgbuid isn't source code, if the download source is legitimate then you can be pretty sure it isn't malware.

Fucking this. Manjaro devs don't seem to have much knowlege about what they are doing:
First this: >>52137217 and then they host at malewareforge. Manjaro can't be taken serious.
Newfags may like it, because it has nice optics and things are easy. Altogether maybe better than babbys first Ubuntu/Mint, because less bloat/spyware, Arch based + AUR access, but still faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from "master race" as so many want to call it.
>>
>>52137021
Someone ask them why they host at Sourceforge, I'd really like to see their response. Why not simply use torrent if they have no money for hosting it themself?
