So I was thinking about getting one of these, that is until I found out that they are still selling the base model with fucking 16GB in 2015. I'm still using a GS3 and I have a 64GB microSD in it, + the 32GB storage that came with the phone.
Oh, and then there's the fact that the retards who designed this shit didn't even give it a microSD slot.
How the FUCK are manufacturers still making phones with 16GB of storage, hell even 32GB is fucking pathetic. 64GB should be the fucking standard these days with how cheap flash memory is becoming (64Gb microSDs run around $20 these days). I have over 30gb of fucking music alone that I would want on my phone.
It's a shame, because I found out recently about project Fi and was thinking about doing it, but the only phones they offer are this piece of shit and the bendable chinkshit 6P.
I just got one in the mail, actually. 16GB version because I regularly move my files over to my desktop, and I don't use it for music. Default, the drive has 10.5GB free.
Get a Mi4c instead. It's the N5X that should have been.
Actually, I'm pissed that the 5x I got didn't come with a USB charger or even a USB adaptor. I'll need to go out and buy one to even transfer things to my desktop.

Honestly, I wouldn't even care if it came with a microSD slot, but them being so fucking cheap and not including such a basic feature makes me really angry.

There is absolutely no reason to buy the nexus 5x, because the moto x pure edition exists for only $20 more. It has a larger, brighter, and denser screen, louder front facing speakers, more ram, and moto actions.
The only advantage the 5x has over the moto x is the fingerprint scanner, but unless you really want one go with the moto x.

Not really. I wasn't either of those guys, but I'm the same way. I use my phone for pictures, videos, and music but I still have 6GB left on my phone.

- as for music, how much do you REALLY listen to? Are you dumping your entire library on your phone or something? Worse case, use spotify or something.

It does have a USB cable and charger. It's a USB type C cable and charger. IT's the newest version, it's higher power and both the cable and charger are significantly more expensive that the older USB micro chargers.

I do admit that saying I was pissed was exaggerated. I get that standards upgrade, but 2/3 of the outlet adapters that came with the phone had USB a type slots, so I expected an adapter to come with the phone to convert the type c charger cord to type a to be compatible with those.

If I really use the phone lots, I get around 6 hours. Little less with lots and lots of standby time. Right now I'm 24 hours on battery, 48% with almost 3 hours SoT.

Sometimes you'll see it be a little sluggish when waking up from a long sleep. Seems to be happening less since I decrypted the storage though. OPX actually looks neat with the build quality. Plastic gets the job done but feels a little cheap. I am using the micro fibre case anyways.
