I had to check it out of one drive offers similar functionality.
What I found was that from office you can create share links to send out and from there people can use word in their browser to edit the document.
But managing your shares is stupid in onedrive, dropbox made is much easier to do so.
Also why doesn't onedrive have an option to pause uploads/downloads ? seems like an oversight

It's decentralized servers at best, normie.
I'm an animator and network storage is essential that i have a cloud backup of all my projects as if anything happens to my pc (say a fire, raid wont help then) i'll be totally fucked. So i pay for a google and dropbox account and backup to both. However having it all in the cloud makes no sense if you're working on anything real time.
