op here sorry I didn't realize this was frowned upon here, sorry. I'm having a difficult time because this will be my first time building a computer and I want it to last a long time. (I have been saving up for a few years) The 980 ti cost $520 but I can buy a Fury X for $480 right now.

The baseline Fury is a better value if you can unlock it to a Fury X, it's basically the 9800 XT all over again
