They can and do use other phones with locations enabled to triangulate your location anyways, disabling it is useless.

In 2015 it's pretty moronic, but people still do it for 2 reasons: they are dumb teenagers, or they feel that giving up a lot of their privacy for a bit of convenience is ok.

This does absolutely nothing. Well, I shouldn't say that. All it does is prevents YOU from seeing this data about you online, but Google still logs your every single move.
