I did its awesome!!
>>
Would rather just keep music in original cd's or put them as mp3/aac. I'm satisfied with those formats, why inflate my files to use up my space for no reason? I would rather just convert all my images to .bmp and waste my drive space that way.

Also most burning programs I use don't accept flacs. So when I do want to whip up a cd or album to put into my phone I need to waste my time converting to useable format.

Stop torturing your ears.

VINYL

1. Superior sound quality
2. Collectable
3. Exists in the corporeal realm
4. Can be sold
5. Make great frisbees
6. Pleasant psychological effect of owning plastic discs
7. Reproduces the actual recorded wave rather than an interpretation of it
8. Better dynamic range
9. Wider frequency response
10. Perfectly reproduces the pops and clicks CD and digital can't capture
11. Warmth
12. Isn't sterile and doesn't smell of disinfectant like digital does
13. Did I mention superior sound quality?
14. Infinite sound resolution
15. Digital = Literally Hitler
16. It's literally the only way to listen to music if you're serious about music and not just a poseur
17. Enjoy listening to digital on your $1 store headphones (or maybe your $20 skullcandies if you're *really* extravagant) and your phone
18. Objectively superior sound quality

FLAC for archival storage, 256K Opus for listening. Anything else is pure shit.

ok, I'm gonna swallow this b8 like a champ
1. nothing superior in high freq cutoff and vinyl crackles
2. just like cds, gotta admit though that a vinyl shelf looks fucking cool
3. que?
4. just like every physical format
5. top kek
6. just like every physical possession
7. yeah, and on top of that adds a fuckton of crackles, infrasound waves and deforms the waveform with every single use
8. as if there aren't digital releases with huge dynamic range
9. someone' getting deaf here
10. more like creates them
11. warmth is an effect of bad sound reproduction and amplifying bass and mid-range
12. that would concern me too if I had autism
14. unless you're some kind of a robot that doesn't really make sense
15. word, uncle Adolf was a top bloke
16. you're certainly a poser when you listen to vinyl in anno domini 2016 - two weeks
17. muh strawman
18. objectively bullshit

>256K Opus
There's no real advantages over MP3 or AAC for Opus at 256kbps.

But at 96-125kbps I agree OPUS is superior.
