I'm making a homepage for myself. I want it to be centered no matter the window size. As far as I understand, I just need to set a width for the body and then use
margin: 0 auto;
But this only seems to center the object horizontally. Is there any way to make it automatically place everything dead center, and not just the top center?
I feel like there should be a really obvious solution to this, but I can't figure it out.

/g/ I have a very stupid question.
Why does the cpu need a cooler and igpu doesn't? I have a very old igpu that does not need a cooler to work, and the temps are fine (maybe).

>>
>>52088801
Try setting a height for the body

Do you actually go to tumblr
>>
>>52088801
>>52088906
I actually found a solution right after, using
width:700px;
position: absolute;
top: 40%;
left: 50%;
transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(-50%);

which works perfectly.

And yes, I only follow content creators though, and never blog anything myself. I hate the community with a passion.

iGPUs are built into the CPU, so they use the CPU heatsink. If you are referring to the northbridge or southbridge, most of the time they do not put off enough heat to need one, same thing is true with some older PCI/PCIe GPUs.
>>
>>52088946
You can do that without giving it a width too by setting
margin:0 auto;

so you don't need to manually change the width if your content changes.

Lots of shit has been mysteriously breaking the past few days, and today I just found out my current motherboard shit the bed. Goddamnit, I just can't get a break.

I need a new motherboard that supports:
>Ivy Bridge LGA 1155 (i5-3570K)
>4x DIMMs for DDR3-1333 sticks
>At least 1x PCIe 2.0 (16x) for meme GPU GTX 970
>At least 2x Sata 6.0 Gbps
>Less than $100

Don't feel like spending on anything else besides a motherboard.

Anyone got any recommendations? I'm having a hard time trying to find boards as apparently LGA 1155 boards are running scarce.

Does it need to all be on the same file, or do I need to get a plugin? Coding in C++ if it matters.

I've basically tried everything sans a factory reset; clear data/cache of apps related to installation of apps. Tried using
 adb install app.apk
and it threw up some error. Restart device. Freed up some storage space. Tried setting install location to internal storage and automatic (i have no sd card)

I found one person from 2010 with a similar problem and no solution provided.

>app not installed error when installing apk file
>when I go to the storage menu in settings the % for apps doesn't appear, it says "calculating... " but never does

Depends on what games you play and who you ask.
I'm going to say yes, but you probably wont notice right away. After using it for awhile though you will notice the downgrade.
>>
>>52094697
awesome, thank you
>>
>>52094825
Define average.

If you mean COD playing and TF2 kind of gamer. Hell fucking no.

If we talking about a guy playing Planetside 2 on everything maxed out who has 1000+ hours dedicated to the game. Then yes.
>>
>>52094825
Yes.
V-Sync fucks up the synchronization between the game and your monitor, and if you're using a 60Hz monitor and aren't using v-sync, you're gonna see a lot of visual tearing.

tl;dr you can use 60Hz if you're fine with visual tearing or slight lag between game and monitor, if you're on a high budget though, just go with 144Hz.

The PSU was an unnecessary change, 550W is plenty for the proposed system. Also, shouldn't he go with a 4690k when he's using an aftermarket cooler?

His PSU was a Seasonic, it was equivalent on the inside but not the outside.
That PSU is cheaper and of super flower make, golden green to be specific, 100% nippon chemicon. Not to mention semi modular which is what really matters for that price.
It was also his idea to use an aftermarket cooler so I just changed it to superior model.
If he doesn't want an unlocked multiplier that's his problem not mine.

Indeed
All it does is make your computer overly user-friendly, to the point of it just saying "restart your computer" when it goes to blue screen, instead of saying any sort of error/error code to help indicate why it happened. Rather said, Windows 10 is pretty much Windows 8 with more keylogs, and Windows 8 is pretty much Windows 7, but dumbed down to the point where an autistic 3 year old can use it. (Which wouldn't be such a bad thing if it didn't get in the way of people who know what they're doing)

tl;dr for fucks sake just stick to Windows 7, MAYBE switch to 8, but really all it helps is make your desktop look prettier.

There are two reasons not to upgrade;
1. You do actual work with software that, for some reason, does not work on Windows 10.

If you're actually concerned with case 2, then there are steps you can take (disable services, block servers) to keep your mind at ease.
