Would the FX-8350 be a worthwhile upgrade over the FX-6350? Specifically for gay men. I my GPU is an R9 290.
I'm being told by people that my CPU is bottle necking my GPU, but I'm not sure how true that is.
Intel shills please leave me alone, I don't want to hear about how much better your processors are. I'm just asking about those two.
Thanks.
No.
You are not being bottlenecked by the CPU.
Well technically you are but it's inconsequential.

I'll help you, goy, but I need you to answer some questions for me. The first is why did you buy AMD?
>>52086457
you aint gonna get better fps with the upgrade if that's what you're asking.
The games that struggle on a 6350 will struggle on a 8350.
Do some research next time.

>Do some research next time.
This is research, nigga. Thanks.
just overclock your 6350 to 5ghz and it'll be fine

Done.

>The first is why did you buy AMD?
I'm poor, why else?
>mfw I am gay and switched from FX8320 to i5 5675C a week ago
no mang you need to switch to intel if you want "gay men"

Oh wow, this thread is still up.
Well, the problem for me with Intel is the cost. Thanks to Canada, it'd cost me $500 CAD to get a new mobo and decent i5 CPU.
I'd love to go Intel and Nvidia right now if it meant games would run better, but the Canadian economy is in the pooper and everything is way to fucking expensive. So I'm stuck spending as much money on AMD/AMD than you would in Intel/Nvidia.
Hopefully Trudeau can fix our dollar with his weed empire.

Well to be completely serious, it depends on how much longer you plan on staying on AM3+ platform.
If you think you gonna upgrade in like two years, the two additional cores in the FX 8350 will be useful and you'll make a good investment.
If you want to upgrade to an Intel platform in like, 6 months, then stick to your FX.
I haven't noticed big performance difference between the 8320 and the i5, except in terribly optimized games. Plus, I've read that the FX6300 OCd pretty well, so you can still try that.
Going nVIDIA right now is kinda dumb : except the 980Ti, nothing in their current Maxwell line is interesting (GTX 950 & 960), has got a better AMD counterpart (GTX 970) or is just overpriced (GTX 980).

My 6350 handles games fine clocked at 4.2GHz, I can max out the latest Battlefront and get over 60 FPS steady.
The only modern games that choke me are "The way it's meant to be played." shit developed by handicaps, like Fallout 4.
It'll probably be a couple years before I can make a switch to Intel though. When I do, I'd rather make it a big jump to an i7 than something I'd have to upgrade shortly.
All depends on Canada's economy though. If the dollar keeps crashing I could be stuck with a 6350 for a long time.

Have you patched Fallout 4? It ran pretty badly on my HD 7950 before I patched the game.
its impossible for a cpu to bottleneck a gpu. it doesn't. make sense. Iys like daying your gardener is bottlenecking your car.
On the otherhand, software can certainly bottleneck a cpu.
if you are at 90 to 100% of cpu usage while playing a gay, then that gay is lilely bottlenecking ur cpus.

There is already a graphic card general, post more of this feline

This wasn't a question about GPUs, you blini.
