Only problem is that the inspirons are built poorly. You're kinda rolling the dice on whether or not it's going to have physical problems in like a year or two.

Specs-wise though, looks great. I'd replace the storage with an SSD though. I've found those hybrid drives to fail very often.

Not nearly as long as an SSD. I bought a 500GB 840 pro and put it in my laptop in early 2013 and it's still going strong. I worked in a tech repair shop and I can't tell you how many failed hybrid drives I've had to take out, and they're not even common.

SSDs do not fail often, and they give a considerable performance increase. The "SSDs aren't worth it" meme is just that, a meme. They got bad reputations because there are dirt cheap kingston/crucial/etc. SSDs that fail really quickly because they're cheap; you get what you pay for.

The 960m is anemic as fuck for 4k, and relatively weak for 1080p. But its a laptop. You could play older games while traveling... Don't use it as a main computer tho. Get a desktop if you don't have one already.
