You should know that windows users are dumb.
The mpv media player doesn't have built-in stats like madvr to see if the config makes dropped frames.
So dumb people are saying bad things about mpv and claiming madvr superiority all the time.
We should change that thing quickly to kill all these directshow packs bundled with adware and spyware.
Badly all windows installer makers like wix, inno or nullsoft are shits, so we need to create one from zero.

Something like lq, mq, hq, hq+, hq++ and insane following by the appropriated config.

Just create a little gui with tkinter and python that downloads mpv archive and extract it somewhere.
Install pyinstaller and create a stupid executable that you put on github.
That's fucking easy, even my 8-year-old cousin could do it in less than one hour.

Sometimes my radio streams will stop playing unless i close and reopen the link. Is there a shortcut I can use to force restart the stream? (pause and play doesn't work).

That's not the problem, those are 128 kbps streams, and by default the cache is at 70 MB. Those particular radio streams for one reason or another can't get a bigger cache than 160 KB + 10 seconds (no idea why).
