Transmission-qt in my opinion, but Deluge is fine too I guess. Don't remember why I didn't like it very much.

deluge is bloatware.
do they still install a daemon service that runs even when the main program isn't?

qbittorrent is the way to go.

qbittorrent
not deluge because >>>python

No it doesn't install it m8

I use it

I use deluge to access a friends seedbox, its buggy as shit.

It regularly crashes, whereby it won't open unless I kill all deluge processes.

If I open multiple torrent files at once, via deluge, a bunch of them won't be opened properly.

Currently, if I add two torrents at once, the second torrent will end up in an unknown void after download is complete and I have to manually use the 'move storage' function to put it in the completed directory.

It also used to have a thing whereby a small number of .torrent files wouldn't open, unless I add them via the add torrent file dialog.

Deluge is not bloatware, its the lightest bit-torrent client you can find. enjoy your shitty vuze
>>
QBittorent has good functionality but the GUI design is horrendous, literally fisher price,
>>
I want a client that doesn't check the payload after you hit pause/stop. So I can move the payload but still have it in the client.

Deluge has this, just right click the torrent you want to move and hit move storage...
>>
>>52063442
No it's vuze-extreme-mod...

deluge can't sort torrents by date completed

You're already using closed source software as base of your system (winblows) it doesn't matter whether you choose to run open software on top of that. It doesn't matter if you choose to run uTorrentâ„¢, or some open source /g/ recommended software. Your whole system is already vulnerable. The whole reason /g/ recommends that software is because of freedom. But you running Windows shows that you don't really care about technological freedom which makes you just a stupid normie.

Only used it on 8.1 and 10. Always worked without issues.

faster what? downloading? same with all clients unless you misconfigure them.
>>
>>52071924
not download, runtime. i am really got along with utorrent it starts like less than a second but deluge is taking time
>>
>>52071960
Deluge is a bit heavier, but overall a better client, especially for the initial swarm

never used deluge on desktop. qbittorrent starts instantly, has all the features, is FOSS, gets regular updates...
>>
>>52063442
yep it is. i especially love how i can set upload limits and how i can have it stop seeding as soon as the full download is completed

Literally /mlp/ cancer bloated crapware

Deluge is good but has a few quirks. I've noticed it randomly uses CPU for a while even when it's supposedly idle. The other thing I've noticed is with torrents with multiple trackers. It'll contact one at a time and attempt to retry a few times if it fails before attempting the next tracker, which in turn means nothing happening for a while. Whereas other clients will contact most if not all available trackers at once.

QBT is also generally good, but I've been a victim of the stalling thing despite there being no good reason for it happening.

I'd rather not use any Windows client that is closed source, CLI only or relies on dbus-daemon. AFAIK this covers just about every halfway popular client.
